We met an elderly kobold who apparently loves us.

Octavia is squeeing at levels that are reaching the edge of human hearing.

Also I can finally cast Fireball.

Coupled with my Focus in Evocation and one or two feats that bump up fire, my Fireball hits like the fist of Judgement.

Finally figured out how to level Dog. He was seriously getting his ass kicked with his 11 HP. Now it's in the 60s and he's roughly the size of a bear.

Found a camp site by the Sycamore Tree, camped in it because fuck the police, got attacked by IIRC a 10/10 Aberration/Sorcerer.

My guys could hit him once every forty attempts, and after one Magic Missile he somehow became immune.

My guys could hit him once every forty attempts, and after one Magic Missile he somehow became immune.

Those Will O' the Wisps deal electric damage and defend themselves with the Shield spell, making them immune to Magic Missile. They also tend to have high AC and some will make themselves invisible over and over.

The second group in the well did that.

First one just floated around and occasionally electrocuted my shit.

I think I finally killed him with Acid Flasks.

Its a dick move that they instantly cast shield after being hit with magic missile when you see the loading screen tip telling you magic middle is the way to beat them multiple times before you ever find one.

Long fucking fight but the Hydra and all its fucking buddies won.

Managed to kill everything, which exhausted my spells.

Then a fucking Hydra attacks me on my way home, but fortunately YOUNG DWEOMERCAT backed me up.

I started getting a weird graphics glitch.

All my icons disappeared, the toolbars went translucent, and ghost menus were popping up everywhere.

Shut it down, figure I'd let it sit and try again later.

I have fought SO MANY HYDRAS.

Beat all of them except the aforementioned one in the marsh. Fucking asshole kept healing. Plus I tried to get Octavia to revive Amira but she got hit with the Stinking Cloud and just sat there trying not to puke for like 6 solid fucking minutes until the Hydra finally got around to eating her.

I have her built to weapon focus with Rays, and keep the Jolt spell set to auto cast. So, when she isn't casting crowd control, aoe, or higher level ray spells, she is getting Sneak Attacks on her cantrips.

Tempted to give my dude a level in Monk.

Monk is good for a dip to pick up AC bonus from stats when not using armor and Crane Style feats, to improve Fighting Defensively. It's mostly for tanking stuff, so I gave my Paladin a dip in it.

I also gave Valerie a single dip in it just for Crane Style feats. Also gave her a dip in Thug to improve Dazzling Display.
