Starmieketone 03/27/20 8:56:16 AM #1:	As context, my mother is half Jewish and a quarter Romany, topped up with assorted European ethnic groups (mostly Anglo-Saxon, etc). I, on the other hand, am those as well (halved, of course), with a slight additional dash of Jewish from my father, along with a soupon of Aboriginal Australian. Also, topped up with assorted European lineages. While legally I could identify as Aboriginal Australian, it seems like it would be extremely hypocritical of me to do so, since I have no connection to the Culture and the side of my family I inherited the Aboriginal Australian ancestry From is deeply, deeply racist (except when it serves their purposes financially). This is something of a steam of consciousness topic that was spurred by a conversation I had with my dear mother around current Identity Politix and the refusal to allow White Heteronormative Cis Males to have any voice in Identity Politix. She was of the opinion that technically, I am not white. Technically, I am not heteronormative either, but thats between myself, my wife and my former partners (and also now Current Events, I suppose?)* Please note, I have nothing against the discipline of Identity Politix, but I do believe that everyone has a voice in its discussion.
