Shave the neckbeard. Lose some weight. Flirt with girls first before asking out - dont just go for the kill.

If you're less than a 7 just become a trap and get the full ride dating scholarship from some other neck beard. 8 and 9.5 you might get some Chad 4.5 and below scraps in cases where he went to jail or moved away or a family member killed him for beating her.

Looks arent everything, even online. Im short and fat (54, 230lbs), and I had three successful dates on tinder, one ended with sex. Sure, that was over 6 months, but I also wasnt constantly trolling through profiles, so I think its a fair amount of responses (not to mention non-tinder dates I had).
