Both shows are so eerily similar in a lot of ways, that it's hard not to raise an eyebrow and there's a small chance that one ripped the other off because they both came out around the same time and were likely in development around the same time as well. But let's say, hypothetically, one of the guys who made the show did rip the other one off (which isn't too far fetched. They both came from MTV in some capacity).
