People usually hand off the quarter to the shoppers coming out as they go in , others just leave the quarter as a gesture of kindness. Most people would do the same. I probably have a few hundred worth in quarters in my 'arcade machine' bank. Yeah, I've have seen far too many people leave their carts anywhere at Walmart, but at our Aldis people usually take the carts back and many wave off the quarter when the next person offers as they take a cart from the returnee. But I'm amazed when people at work aren't curtious enough to wipe out the microwave, counter, or table where they eat and leave the mess for someone else. And I won't even mention some of the things I walked into the restroom and seen. Usually I write critical posts , then delete them without posting.
