the biggest part of modern day slavery is being coerced or forced through threat of violence to keep working.

You might be paid but if your family will be harmed if you quit....

The only thing required for something to be acceptable is for people to accept it.

Yeah I totally agree, way more should. I'm fairly certain some of the companies in the extractive industry don't exactly play nice.

And if unfairly treated labourers are included on the list, then so should child labour, by any definition. Ferrero, for example, who owns Nutella and, ironically, Kinder chocolate, has been reprimanded for using child labour on their cocoa plantations. Just putting it out there :p

Buuut I suppose that although it's an incomplete and silly list, it's still better than no list at all.

By that logic slavery has never existed, since slaves were paid in food... unless you believe in photosynthetic slaves

Man, I can't believe this news that I'm reading right now on my Acer computer with a Samsung monitor and a Microsoft operating system with a tab in my browser open for Google while typing a response with my Dell keyboard (that I bought off of Amazon) while wearing a Jack & Jones t-shirt, Gap jeans, and Tommy Hilfiger socks.

This makes me so upset that I might have to go play on my Nintendo or my Sony consoles on my LG TV in order to unwind. If I get really upset I'll go outside, but I'll need to put on my North Face coat because it's very cold today.

Wow even Sony? I bought from almost half of this list. I did stop eating chicken nuggets a while back from McDonalds because of how sad they taste.
