I looked through all the papers and data and I posted that it is more infectious than the flu, and more deadly. Although I said the deadly thing was questionable because we don't have widespread testing like we do for the flu. I told you guys there were a shit ton of cases out there that weren't diagnosed and weren't going to be, but it will inevitably spread in the communities.

Alot of you guys didn't listen. Alot of you guys listened to Trump who said the "caronavirus" was contained.

I never thought it would be contained. I thought a lot of people would get it, and the virus will run its course with as much health damage as the flu.

Flu fatality rate is 0.2%
covid is 2.3%

so 20 times as deadly. But like I said in my first post, I think part of it is cuz theres so many undiagnosed cases. If someone has some minor symptoms, its easy for any clinic or urgent care to do a flu swab to check. For covid not every facility has it and even if they do, they probably haven't had it for more than a week or 2 now, so alot of numbers are still coming out. So basically only cases on the sicker side of the spectrum are diagnosed, the ones that require hospitalization.

Also I looked through some Italian data, they have similar fatality rates as china, around 2.3%. Haven't seen it broken down yet by demographic but that suggests that the chinese CDC numbers were infact accurate.

Uh, no? Italian data is currently showing an 8.2% fatality rate. China is at 5.2%. (all based on BNO's numbers).
