Pizza Hut used to be a fancy place with waitresses and shit. Being able to play video games at home without having to constantly insert quarters was like Benjamin Franklin discovering electricity.

One time my best friend moved away to Los Angeles when I was maybe 8 years old or something. My parents were friends with his parents, so I was actually able to take a plane flight by myself to L.A to visit him. The pilot and stewardesses took extra care of me since I was traveling alone at such a young age. Weird shit lol.

I remember getting a coupon for like a free personal pizza (kid sized, IIRC) in elementary school every time I finished reading a book. But I went to a private school for elementary school, so I don't know how common it was in other schools. :3

Every time after, it was a dump.

Here in California, every Pizza Hut is basically a take out spot only. If there are any dine in ones, I haven't seen them since the 80s or so.

Never much cared for Pizza Hut where I lived. Pizza Delight on the other hand.... that was the place to be, just amazing "sort of Italian" food. That said, I remember being introduced to my first dos machine, and then the original Nintendo.... and although it has nothing to do with the topic at hand, installing Diablo 2 and its expansion Lord of Destruction on a 3 gigabyte computer(the game took up almost all that space), and having a 56k modem to play it online.
