don't get me wrong, it's easy to see how this became a massive hit among loser basement-dwelling teenage boys
everyone likes being told that they're unique and special and can see/do things nobody else can because they're a bunch of ignorant sheep who go about their day-to-day lives in an obedient stupor but it is just sooooooo hilariously pretentious and takes itself so fucking seriously it makes me laugh like nothing else oh yeah, the sequels suck and it also gave the alt-right that "red pill" garbage. so there's that going against it as well >_> --- Only I have the brains to rule GameFAQs! https://imgur.com/BKtsb ... It's one of the best examples of cyberpunk/virtual reality sci-fi to this day. The first one as a standalone film is very, very good. The sequels are fun, but highly flawed (especially Revolutions)

I enjoyed Reloaded and I think anyone who didn't fall for the whole "hurr generic rise against the oppressors" theme in the first movie would give it a chance as well
