Think about it. If a couple breaks up, the guy who may remain clingy or emotional almost never gets a second chance. The woman may block them or outright ignore them if they try to converse too much.

But a guy who is more uncaring or available will have a better chance of rekindling. The infamous you up? and I miss you texts can now be romantic when sent from this guy.

Despite the latter probably doing something worse that caused a relationship to end, they tend to get a better opinion.

Whiny men are looked down on with little remorse. No one says I can fix him to a man who lacks confidence. Only an asshole.

Has anyone noticed this?

Not to much 'confidence' as much as good social skills. Which makes sense.

If she enjoys being around the guy despite his issues then yeah that whole mentality creeps in. This is less likely going to be the case for someone with no confidence and social skills.

A whole lot of men fake their confidence with good social skills as well. These guys often do have women who try to fix them because it's something that perhaps only her and close friends/family know about.
