Good job modkilling your most active player by using something we basically never modkill over as pretext to punish her for a previous game! I'm going to guess at least two other people effectively quit as a result.

Fair enough though Scare if that's how you feel. But I'm her father. It was my turn to speak. All I said to IGCD was everything I knew she was thinking but wasn't bold enough to say on her own. That was easily the best run of games she's had. She's certainly better now than I am.

And no, she left because she feels the community turned against her. She was tremoring when she changed her vote to Tange. She was punished for caring too much and for her actions in a previous game. That modkill was because of Simpsons Mafia and you're deluding yourself if you say otherwise. The game started with someone personally attacking her over a different game and getting modkilled over a different game. I'd be pissed too, and she's always fragile when playing mafia.

And yes, IGCD submarined his game as a result. Look how pathetic the activity has been since. Not gonna apologize for calling out the truth on that one!

Crescent has had some issue with me for a while and I dont know what it is. I would have no problem talking to her if she wanted to talk.

But when someone quits all the servers and what not and the site they want distance so I wouldnt have looked for her since it was a sign she needed space.

If the game is too much then don't play it. Dont jeopardize your headspace. I'm not saying anything wrong

Gravy contacted me yesterday and made it clear to me he meant no harm. His intent just came off horribly wrong in the topic. He thinks I'm one of the better players here, and was in some weird way trying to channel the energy I played with in Simpsons. He didn't know how I felt about it until it came up in here. Gravy and I are similar in that we cannot play without some level of emotional involvement. When something like that happens, a reaction follows.

And yes, I overreacted, but I took a look just now. Just about everyone is chastising him over how bad that modkill was, just like Gravy said they were going to. He basically assured me exactly what happened after the game was what was going to happen, aka IGCD getting yelled at by everyone. I was modkilled off of something people simply do not get modkilled for, and I felt like IGCD was unfairly targeting me based on a different game. Everything Blade said was exactly how I felt, but wasn't going to say myself. I knew if I said it myself, I was opening a Pandora's Box I probably couldn't close.

I will thank Scare for helping Gravy get in touch with me. I think it did a world of good for both he and I. He really helped me from his perspective get my thoughts together. I agree with him though, I am one of the better players when I can be in focus, but I'm also fragile. Gravy's not a bad person at all. I feel like he may be reactive more because people expect him to be than for any other reason.

Though Scare, you're wrong on something. I isolated myself from the community specifically so I wouldn't spend hours lashing out like I have in the past. It was a mature decision in the moment not to escalate it any further, and Blade can easily invite me back into the Discord at any time, so there was no level of finality to the action. It was just meant to give the appearance of it so tensions would not escalate further. The only reason I'm here right now is Gravy though. He really helped me center my thoughts on everything.

Also, Blade is not my biological father, but he is my father in the ways that matter. He basically considered it his job to voice my feelings and take the flak for them in my stead.

I will also say this in the nicest way possible. You need to stop bringing your problems into games.

We like playing with you crescent. You are a good player and bring fun to games, but you kill it all when you start acting like the game is going to mentally break you down or some shit. It is just a game. It is for fun. Relax and play it.

You can play to win. You can play to have fun. You can play however you want. But, bringing your mental stresses into the game is never a good idea.

And, never... I mean... Never. Say you know something outside of the game that might be modkillable to say what it is. Everrrr. Like, that shit pissed a lot of people off. You may have ensured DYL never plays another game again with us with that.

Now you made a mistake with it. So be it. We don't hate you for it.

And, we aren't yelling at IGCD. We just think he could have said he was gonna be strict prior to the game starting.

As I said to Gravy, I was only as honest as I was in Simpsons d3 and beyond because I was modconfirmed town and knew it wouldn't actually effect the game for it to know the state of my psyche. I think it really helped me process my thoughts to put all my feelings into the game too. My thoughts became more clear and I started firing off at a pace I never knew I was even capable of in a game.

I've said it before: I don't play this for fun, I play it to push my boundaries and test my limits. I was just in a position to be extremely honest about it during a game, and I think it did wonders for me.

So yeah anyway things seem more or less as "resolved" as they're going to get and my job is pretty much done here. I know I can be abrasive and whatnot but it's what gets shit done. If people yell at me its whatever.

And on a serious note of my own, I don't know how or even if I could reinvent myself in Mafia if I tried. My primary fuel was anger and aggression for all those years. I've outgrown most of it, and honestly I've never figured out how to sustainably play Mafia without it. I think a lot of it is simply because I have something to protect that I didn't have all those years ago. Life just... Slowly changes and adapts.
