I think they make a reference to Grant. Richter and Sypha are talking about people they've met on the road. Richter sounds particularly disgusted by, "That one guy with the horse-drawn sailboat on wheels that called himself the Pirate of the Roads."

Oh snap. Mild spoilers. I thought they were definitely just going to keep Isaac's dick outta shot, but they kinda quit bothering when vampire lady starts throwing his around the room. Not a lot of detail on it though.

Gonna be honest. Im not really hyped to follow Season 2. Everyone I cared about had their stories wrapped up nicely, and Id rather them start generation-hopping than keep following Trevor. <_>

I'm about halfway through it. For criticisms:

A lot more disjointed than Season 2 because there are four entirely different plot threads happening at one time with a few smaller ones within those. They're all fine plotlines, but they're in entirely different parts of the continent and right now there are only two that seem to be heading towards collision.

Similarly to Season 2, the pacing is a little slow. I'm about to start episode five and still feel like I'm waiting for most of the plot to kick off.

The strengths are still the same as it always has. There have been some fun fight scenes, the animation's pretty good, and the dialogue has some amusing moments and some interesting pontificating.

What a great season, the back half was crazy and packed with action.

Also spoilers WTF is wrong with Hector? He gets to be a sex slave to a hot ass vampire and live a life of luxury and he's still somehow miserable.

Can't wait for the next season!

This season was garbage. Horrendous pacing, pointless storylines, and bad writing. To top it all off, this is Castlevania only in name at this point. Most of the characters act nothing like their game counterparts with Alucard being the biggest offender this season. What the writing team did to him especially was awful. As a big Castlevania fan, I'm disappointed. The writing in the games were never outstanding but I'll take that over this anti-Christianity mess which is funny considering that Castlevania has Christianity themes in its roots. The writers would know this if they bothered to play the games but they haven't. They are using wikipedia as the primary source.

Eh season 2 was mostly a bore with teenage edgy writing where every character has to curse every other sentence. And Dracula doing a whole lotta nothing, with Carmilla scheming just to lead up to nothing. I wish theyve would skipped to the next generation this season.

Yeah, I probably am. That just seems extremely out of character for alucard. Much less the fact that it put him in the position to get captured. Alucard is the kinda dude who wouldnt even put himself in that position to start with.

I thought the writing in this season was 10/10. I didnt mind at all how little action there was because I was enraptured by the characters.

It wasted so much time with so many boring characters, arcs that went nowhere and repeats of things that happened last season. (Did we need to see Hector being chumped again?) Alucard is written like a total idiot. Don't get me wrong, it's worth watching still, but the dude who posted before me is a total dumbass if he thinks the decompressed format was doing it any favors.

All of this. And Carmilla is such a trash tier villain. When your villain is just dislikable and does nothing to actually display her abilities, then you have a problem. They even put a spotlight on this by showing her friends talk about how stupid her plans are and how they all do the work, SHOWING us that's true. Like, TF do they even need her for?

They should have pulled the trigger and revived Dracula. If it weren't for Isaac being badass then I'm not even sure I'd be looking forward to next season at all. Legion was cool.

Also, the Judge plot twist was completely pointless. Swerve for the sake of a swerve, dude was dead when they found his "dark secret".

I'm actually kind of mad about this season and hoping that I enjoy it more if I ever decide to rewatch it again. Maybe with my expectations low I'll appreciate what it did right? Hard to watch that dumb Alucard arc without being reminded of what's wrong though.

I enjoyed it, but I have to admit the entire season was basically filler. At least Trevor, Sypha, and Isaac all did some cool stuff. They should probably conclude this arc in the next season, and then they could perhaps move on to Simon if the show keeps going.

I agree with alucard doing that is so out of character and his whom story felt not needed, but they had to put him in somehow. Other than that I really like Trevor and Sypha adventure and great characters/development and it is good to see that their story have to be all about Dracula(Yea, I know the big bad was trying to bring him back, but we didn't know till the really end).

Last but not least Issac story was awesome and really delve on his idea and the captain was really great character. Man, Hector can't catch a break for crap.(did they really have to call their group the four women). But it looks like they will be the big baddies next season.

No, they did not have to put him in. The Japanese characters were trash and annoying me even before they started ****ing him.

The only purpose that could have been served there was getting the Castle operational, which they didn't do.

He should have just gone back to sleeping in a coffin at the end of season 2 if they were so bankrupt of any ideas with him they decided having some Japanese dude **** him in the *** was the right course.
