Well yeah, the politicians are silencing people who try to give facts about the virus burying them in a slew of "It's a hoax designed to hurt me!" "It's not a big deal anyway" and "It doesn't even exist" because they are only worried about their pocket books

Even if you have it you will not be killed by it unless you are already unhealthy, have a compromised immune system, such as say organ transplant patients who take anti-rejection medication, and are elderly. Instead if you get it say goodbye to your life for an undetermined amount of time because if you have it and the government knows it, you will be quarantined until your symptoms pass, you will lose you job, possibly be backed up on bills and other problems that will arise from effectively disappearing from your life for a couple of days, now some people can weather it but for people who already can't lose their job or they are on the street it's effectively wiping their lives away.

Through of course the government will ignore those people at best or demonize them at worse by saying "If a week of being quarantined to protect their fellow citizens is all it took to make their lives fall apart that just shows poor planning on their part not the government's"
