Tanks are so damn fun in this mode. You literally feel like a juggernaut. You mow down enemies left and right as Reinhardt, Winston is basically unkillable, Roadhog is a healer and has a million hooks he can throw, Zarya essentially has Lucio's ultimate on cooldown, and builds 100 charge constantly. Obviously there are some tanks that didn't really get as good buffs, I'm baffled that Wrecking Ball got NOTHING, but tanks have never been so awesome. It's a shame it's only temporary.

It changes the role locks to 3 Damage, 2 Supports, and 1 Tank. To compensate for the solo tank role, they've been buffed considerably, with more health, faster cooldowns, and new abilities.

It's completely ridiculous, but a lot of fun honestly. Doesn't seem like the community as a whole has taken to it though, so it's not looking like it will last very long.

But anyways , I know this is a little off topic but speaking of Tanks , I've heard zarya can now bubble everyone within a certain radius of her? As some of y'all know my absolute favorite game mode is total Mayhem, and she was one of the banes of my existence. I am not looking forward to fighting that in the future

Havent really had any good matches in it. They left dps and support alone which is a huge problem because 1 less tank means 1 less protector and 1 more damage dealer means everything is dying all over the place. None of the tanks feel buffed enough to survive most 3 dps groups. Hell Orisa & Sigma literally didnt even get fully reverted to their pre-nerfed states and Hammond wasnt touched at all. All the barriers feel like garbage against 3 dps and an enemy Mei or Sombra alone can completely bully your tank to unplayable levels.

It was an interesting idea, but poorly thought out and shouldve came with several support and dps changes. Also missed a huge opportunity to actually give some of the tanks new abilities in this mode. Why not have tried some Alt fire for Winston just for fun?

That's only in the 3-2-1 mode, so you don't have to worry about it.

It really depends of the character. Wrecking Ball, Orisa and Sigma don't seem to really fit in the mode well since they don't have any significant gains (doesn't help that Sigma is a complete joke character now). Meanwhile Reinhardt and Winston are literally the destroyer of worlds. I've taken on entire groups of enemies by myself and just slaughtered everybody without much trouble. You can really get away with a ton of stuff; bad positioning, risky plays, that you really shouldn't get away with and survive as them in this mode. With good support Dva and Zarya are basically unkillable too. Playing tanks is actually super fun now.

One major problem though is that losing your tank hurts more than ever this mode. Since you have no one else to fall back on it's easy for your entire team to collapse without a tank. I've noticed people solo ulting me a lot more too. Makes playing Dva a bit risky since you don't want to spend too much time de-meched, it's essentially worse than just dying.
