The other day I was thinking about Project Overkill on PS1, which was a pretty standard hyperviolent isometric shooter, but it had like 200 levels and multiple characters you could play as, and I really want to play it again

I had that game! IIRC it predates Mario 64 so it might technically be the first 3D console platformer.
