I just realized that Trump is 1 of 2 Republican Presidents in the last 60 or so years to be elected without using extremely underhanded tactics, and HW Bush is certainly no saint. He had a sprawling list of war crimes, did tons of shady shit for the CIA, was involved in pretty much every Republican scandal since Eisenhower got into office, helped undermine the 2000 election, and was a beneficiary from Nazi slave labor. Trump is arguably the least integrally compromised Republican President for over hald a century. He's completely warped out Democratic-Republic and has allowed foreign power to interfer in our elections for his own personal gain.
