The fact that we ever elected such a ghoul is one of the best arguments against democracy. This dude was a historic sociopath and power junkie. We're still dealing with the erosion of trust and other consequences caused by the underhanded stuff this guy pulled. If you take into account the consequences, the personal moral character and the people he surrounded himself with, he's at best the second worst President we've had.
