The Data East arcade game Captain America and the Avengers couldn't use Hulk or Thor because of them being individually licensed out to other sources. So the Avengers consisted of Captain America, Hawkeye, Iron Man, and Vision. (And Wasp.)

Hulk eventually got his own game on SNES and Genesis and appeared as a playable character in Marvel's War of the Gems on SNES.

But Thor? Nada.

I don't know when he finally got a video game, but he had 0 console appearances in the 8-bit and 16-bit eras of gaming. That probably makes him the biggest name in comics not to have an appearance on a retro console. Wonder Woman and the Fantastic Four didn't receive their own games, but they did appear in Justice League: Task Force (SNES, Genesis) and Spider-Man (SNES) respectively.

And, yes, I'm aware that the mythic Thor is in the public domain. I'm referring specifically to Marvel's take on the character.

I think that Vikings game on the Xbox 360 could have been Thor related

maybe whoever owned the Bill Bixby Hulk TV series had the rights? I know games/tv are often licensed differently, but they used Thor in one of the TV movies and I cant think of anything else Thor would have been doing outside comics.

Speaking of great properties never to receive video game adaptations...

Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays "Thor" in Adventures in Babysitting, would later go on to play Kingpin in the Netflix Daredevil series.

I'm gonna go ahead and count that as two Marvel connections.
