The guy who made it is a right-wing dipshit who called into the Dick Show to bitch about leftists "not getting" his vision and only criticised it because they "felt cucked", like the reason they didn't like it is because he "didn't spoonfeed it to them like all the other shit they like, like Marvel movies". Dude is a massive tool. I don't mind a pretentious game every once in a while, even if it's a little heavy-handed and snotty, but this game goes beyond that. Going from that to what is essentially lolrandumbx3 humor just isn't going to work unless you know what you're doing which the writers/developers here didn't. I just felt that over all there was something missing that could have made it great. There were some incredible concepts I would like other games to take up and do better with. The story makes a lot more sense by the end then it should. The game does a nonexistent job of doing anything remotely interesting with it, but a game that takes place in 1999 that progresses as a school sim does has a interesting premise. Especially if you take into account the culture of how things were back then.
