They make a few big budget things with production values that sells well but often takes a loss, but that promotes the studio and the girls so they can sell far more profitable cheap stuff filmed in local homes that are rented or for sale furnished. (yes, if you rent a new place in southern California, someone probably fucked on that furniture). So while piracy hurt them hard, those that still support physical media can make up the difference quickly. They also adopted more of an itumes model of sell by scene and keep the price low so they are a fair alternative to other options that can be crap, virus riddled, or both.
