OK, he could be scum, I guess, but he isnt getting my vote today so Ill remove him from consideration. I also think this lowers HBs scum equity a little bit because I feel like if 5tar went 3/3 here the scum team would shoot him, but thats just an inkling.
Full disclosure I have no idea how people manage to read Sultan. People were confident he was town last game so I rolled with it but I dunno how or why

I will also say when I voted Lea for going hard on IGCD and IGCD defended her softly by saying it wasnt that bad it doesnt look good for Lea in hindsight. I gave him a chance to easily mislynch a town Lea who had voted him and annoyed him and he instead chooses to defend her. Feels like scum IGCD lets Chris be stupid there, doesnt it? IGCD though was all like dont know what youre talking about Chris! Why wouldnt scum IGCD just vote Lea with me? Its my head, I was the one pushing hard.
Didn't you confirm Chris was town in YYH for lynching Ulti in five hours To Ben.

Yeah Lea/Ben is just not the scum team at the moment for me, for this alone.
HBs 377 where he says Chris lynches are less than permanent is what made me start thinking HB was town fwiw. Felt a bit calmer. Could, in theory, but scum HB who got sucker punched by my antics recovering from an early game falter and coming to form though, that is within his range.
Ben being scared to lynch IGCD because he is always scummy feels pretty honest.
Death also defends IGCD which yeah, it makes Leas take even weirder. Notice how almost everyone was like Man what the hell and Lea was like scum! Scum! Got scum! Okay now I will unvote the scum because REASONS!

At this point I have other reasons for believing Chris is town. For example, every post he made after post #1

I do tend to think sassy Ben is a town Ben. Plus I buy his role given game dynamics so FOR TODAY, off the POE.

Also I feel like HB did a pretty good job of actually knowing town Chris. He was right in 414 that in general I will be a bit more lazy with my vote day 1 as scum than I am as town, which is a good insight for a scum to have here if he is scum. I am going off memory but his reactions later in the day when I make posts about other people feel like oh yeah I guess Chris kicked it into gear, this doesnt seem like scum him as much whereas on the bad side red was like scummy. Still scummy. NOTHING HAS CHANGED which is just weird. Not even scummy, its just weird.
So from re-reading topic 1, here are the remaining scum teams I am considering at the moment (feel free to change my mind!)

Lea/Red/Lopen/HB. Each with a 50% scum equity in this scenario. We lynch within this, I think we win.

Red/Lea being aligned would be very weird all things considered, so that has to be factored into it. I think if I was going to put a guess on it Red almost has to be scum here. Or Lea/Lopen are living their best life and are just having fun together. But like Red/Lopen makes a good deal of sense to me here. Good cop/bad cop with Lea stuff, keeping it afloat but also a distraction for town. Lea just really genuinely didnt like IGCD but couldnt be bothered. Lea/HB for the Chris is right about everything. Owned HB early, then switched to owning Lea, then called out theatre on the spot correctly, and oh yeah heres Sultans corpse. I mean Lea/HB is the ultimate Chris solved the game day 1 at various points and just didnt piece it all together right away but great news we never mislynched, party down by the lake. Which would mean they would be very bitter about not being able to kill me!

It's really hard for me to think that Lea and Lopen are scum without you also being scum after D2's EoD. I know creative bussing is a thing, but throwing away an opportunity to kill the strongest town player just... seems completely irrational for someone to do. Especially Lea, because until she voted, you were pretty much fucked. I guess you could make a better case for Lopen, given it was 4-4 when he switched and Ben probably votes Ulti in a pinch, but there's no way Lea throws away an opportunity to lynch Town!Chris like that.

If you are wondering where I was, I was on the road, as a passenger, traveling to go to a Hockey(It was Dodgers Night at the Kings game so I decided it was a good time to go) game and I was excited so I kind of forgot about the game and didnt realize end of day was that early. I literally was only getting outside for non-essential things once in a blue moon for the last year and a half until my grandpa died a few months ago. So I've kind of been living it up and actually getting out of the house, so I still get a bit giddy when I can get out.

In fairness you did that once and got gutted for it lol.

This game is just showing me how lazy I am when Chris is alive. I usually dont start pushing anything myself until Chris is dead. In games where he's town at least. Or when I dont agree with him, but that's rare.

I think the last two scum are in Red/Lopen/Lea.

5tar was very adamant about wanting to kill Sultan day 1 and 2. Scare murdered Ulti. Chris has a strong town read on Death, so I'll accept that.

I agree that he does kill ben night 2 even if he knows sbell is a hero. Like I can imagine being on a scum team and arguing "kill the heros" and a red lead team says "no we have to go through ben to allow chris to be killed" and him vetoing any other kills. Sultan and Ulti cede that to him I think. It's wifomy, but that is one thing I buy about him is that he does put things in place to kill a !town Chris.

My initial reason for putting HB on the confirmed town list was for being the first to say that vanillas are renamed. I realize now after Ulti flipped a renamed vanilla that my reasoning was wrong. But there's a rule about never removing someone from the list once they're there! And I did start to have other town reads on HB on day 2. I dont remember what posts those were, but I'll find them if people want me to

I feel like if he is scum he just laces up Ulti for looking bad, but he went out of his way to say "Hey, I may have been wrong, that was a solid find" and went town finding in the process. In the event you guys lynch me.

The penalty for one of me or Chris mislynching the other is death. You lynch Chris immediately. We are never wrong about each other to a definitive point unless we are scum. If Chris is town, it confirms Ben town. If Chris is scum, theres a chance Ben is town but it is unlikely(I'd probably say just lynch him).

If you need a simple reason that Chris would have to be lynched its this. We know each other better than anyone. Even in his PoE he has room for me to not be scum. I should be the one he is most sure if scum or town, and actually know. If hes wrong, its fishy as fuck and you should kill him for it.

I came into today thinking we chop down hb/lopen/lea and the game is over. If chris is town, I may not be wrong. I had Scare out of my pile but hes doing the thing he did last game where he makes up stuff on me to try to justify me being scum. Again, he could just be wrong, but he puts himself into consideration if things get much later. We never lynch death. Theres a situation hes scum via scum Hero left on the table but if the host left that trap in fuck Han and we were setup to lose.

Now, in the event you have lynched me and Chris and he is also town scum is almost certainly in Hb/Lopen/Lea.

If Chris tries to weasel out of being lynched if he does in fact lynch me, don't let him talk you into that before lynching him. You have to rule out the Chris/Ben pair before digging into that group or you may have immediately lost the game.

but chris and red probably dont push each other the extent they have so I have been comfortable enough to not have that level of paranoia

Now, let me say this, my actual opinion of the day is that Hb/Lopen/Lea should almost certainly hold the scumteam. Sultans post are full of shade throwing at hb with excuses to look at various other people. But if you are going to lynch me today you absolutely follow the voice of the dead confirmed town before you go digging down the rabbit hole of anyone still alive.

My thoughts on Ben are basically that he could and should have leapt on the chance to save Chris at EoD2 considering he trusted you enough to put perma protection on you and he didn't, and that him making a claim particularly tailored to get you off his back seems reasonably likely after he saw Han do it and get away with it for a while

That and, alongside Death, Red obviously, and Lopen if you squint, he's one of the few not in the group I'm sure is town.
