Any. Protection claims should only be lynched when there is a direct counter or when enough information is relayed that makes their claim not fit into the game

It's like that one game where Sbell mayored me after I claimed protection and red and someone else were like "NOPE SUPER SCUM HAHA" and voted me and they were both scum who got owned later.

It's always an anti-town move to try to murder protection.

Flavorwise I can see few reasons for Ice King to be a protector, but it is possible.
But it makes me believe he can only target one or two characters.

Ice King is also the guy who always kidnaps princesses though.
If the flavor split hadnt been so wonky, I would have worried about this more.

I think never lynch claimed protection is cowardly play.

I'm still digesting whether I think Ben is lying scum or just lying town which is totally in his playbook so not necessarily saying to lynch yet-- might be one to let resolve itself. Let me read topic 2

I don't think that's quite true but I will often use players to get a feel for the game. I can most decidedly say I haven't lynched you too often as town, merely perhaps made you a tad more stressed than you would have liked. HB said things to make me reconsider him from my early game, you so far have not. I may attack often but it cannot be said I do not relent.

Also for Ben I have two very important pieces of information none of you have which is skewing this for me.

One, I know I am town. So I know for scum ben to have claimed this they have to keep me alive. Which would really be nice to live for a few game days again, I like doing that.

Secondly, I know my role. It works very well with Ben's in ways I am not going to say in any way.

Like just think about the logistics behind the role. Like if you use it on someone who gets lynched or someone you begin to suspect you can't reuse it on someone else.

It's really just a bad doctor. It functionally serves the same purpose as a doctor (you can do the same thing as this role as doctor if you do the same person every night) with a drawback. I feel like that is a role that doesn't likely exist and is just someone being cute with a fakeclaim in case a real doctor is in the game.

Also like, that's the scum go to to draw counter claims

I didn't plan to reveal the target and didn't when I claimed, though I thought it would be super obvious anyway. And then when Chris responded that way I realized even more how obvious it was and that I might as well say it.

Kind of expected people to think I was vanilla for claiming I got Puns power, since I make dumb power claims as vanilla to try and draw a shot
