That's basically asking the mods to admit they were wrong.

Anyone ever had a contest moderation over turned? They usually just give me a bs reply and then make it to where I can't respond. It's kind of pointless.

I never really contest them because most of mine are deserved, but the one time I did contest one (I was obviously talking about the GTA character Franklin in a GTA topic. Mods thought I was talking about the user) and got it overturned I got a smartassy response. I'm going on a long memory, but the gist of it was "Yeah, we'll overturn this one, but watch your step". If I was a typical troublemaker I'd deserve a response like that, but I wasn't. So yeah, what's the point?

Yeah, but it took three disputes for them to actually read the post they were modding and admitting that calling a topic a bitch topic wasnt actually referring to the user.

It was restored too, as calling a whiny topic a bitch topic isnt a violation because topics dont have feelings.

I actually got a moderation overturned and then a week later got modded for almost the same thing and contested it the same way but lost 2nd time.

Ive had about three overturned. One was pretty armchair lawyer-ey, but they still did it. You basically have to have an airtight case and even then its a crap shoot. And theyll never reinstate borderline stuff. Ive had some stuff that I really didnt deserve to be punished for, but I knew there was no way they were going to put it back on the forum.

Quite a few times. When I get modded, it's usually for things I know are moddable.

I think I had one overturned once. But usually they don't overturn anything even if you have a strong argument for why you didn't break the rules

It's annoying when people try to troll you and nothing happens when you mark them, but then they mark you and your message is deleted when all you did was respond
