What's up with that? If your friend wants to bang your ex, let him. You're married.

Because in the real world it's usually not as simple as "pump and dump" and it requires a little bit of romancing to get in someone's pants.

i'm married but i do have one ex that's off limits for my closest circle, but for a different reason. nothing to do with me caring about her sleeping with other dudes, as it's been 12 years since we've been involved. i'm way past that. but she's just as much ex friends with all of them as she's an ex gf to me. she sabotaged her relationship with them, with me, and tried to ruin my relationships with my friends (briefly succeeded) for reasons we'll never understand. there's one single guy in my circle. if he started sleeping with her, it would be mad weird for everybody thinking about how she might be reintroduced into all of our lives.

none of us hold any hate for her currently, but she's not someone we're looking to get back in our circle.

If its a bang then idk why not, preferably I'd never know but I wouldn't be mad about a hook up if I were married. However if a friend wants to date and reintroduce into my life an old ex that was probably left behind for good reasons, then that person might not be a friend anymore.

I don't really care outside if one ex. She was emotionally and physically abusive, so I wouldn't want any of my homies to go through that.

If it was just sex, I wouldn't care, but if they started dating, I wouldn't wanna be in the same room as her, like if we went to the same party, I'd go to the kitchen if she was in the main room and vice versa.

There's a statute of limitations. Dating your friend's ex soon after the breakup is a dick move but after a certain period of time they're expected to get over it. They don't own that woman and they have a right to date whoever they want.

If you want to remain friends with someone it's usually a good rule of thumb to not date their exes even if they give permission. Emotional baggage bullshit WILL come up eventually, and you will be the one that has to pay the price.

If a friend who dates your ex is a close friend, the two of them will 100% be involved in your own life st some point. It is completely ignorant to think otherwise.

she did some damage though. i didn't talk to them for a few years, which resulted in me not being the best man at my best friend's wedding (was still a groomsman though). it's not the biggest deal, but it does feel like an alternate universe type thing.
