almost all the non-Uematsu ff composers align with my tastes consistently better than uemtasu but ff6 dancing mad part 4 (by uematsu) might be my answer for absolute favorite track in the series regardless

I was one of few who could see past FFXIII's many many many (many many) flaws

but hearing this song play at the end felt so triumphant, seeing the characters reach the end

it makes me feel warm and fuzzy every time I hear it

I get it, its a very polarizing genre, but I insist that 14 be treated as a proper piece of the series. Largely because its the best FF since X and it isnt remotely close.
