It almost feels like cheating to have a song by a non-Pokemon composer get this high up. But I care not for such arbitrary rules, because this song is great! Its a combination of tobys Deltarune style and the best of Pokemon battle themes. No joke: when I first heard this, I put it on loop and listened to it for probably an hour, then ripped it from Youtube and listened to it on my phone for like a solid two weeks. Its infectious. Its great at getting my blood pumping, and its got a great melody, and everything about it is just great, great, great.

Ahh, Sky Tower. How I love you. Sky Tower is life. Sky Tower is love. Get on board the Sky Tower and let all your cares wash away. Sky Tower is so soothing but also mysterious but also foreboding but also...I dont even know. Its a combination of emotions, some of which I dont think have been invented yet.

This isnt my first time with Sky Tower. Its kind of a shame I couldnt put a new discovery at the tippity top, but I asked for the best of Pokemon, and I got Sky Tower. (I also got happy town music.) Congrats to Player_0 for taking home the gold, and thank you to everyone who nominated! I feel so much more Pokeliterate now.

Thanks for doing a really entertaining ranking topic! Seeing people rank VGM is always fun, but there's much more community discussion to be had when it's from a well-known franchise that has the ability to connect people like this. There were definitely some heartbreaking drops early on, but I think everything started to settle nicely towards the end! Primal Dialga would probably have taken the #1 spot for me, with Sky Tower or S/M E4 in a close second.

Still can't believe we didn't end up nominating the original versions of Azalea Town or Zinnia!

Aw man my average is terrible lol

I think my average would've been pretty good if it wasn't for Ever Grande city being in second to last place with a 1.5 rating lol.

Anyway, I didn't even notice that this was over until now lol but glad to see that it's complete! I think I noticed this with your previous VGM ranking topic, but it's interesting to me that your top songs are a mix of songs that I really enjoy (Temporal Tower, Sky Tower) and songs that are more average/slightly above average (Dark Cave, Great Canyon).

Also thanks for reminding me that Final N Battle is really cool. Really love that organ progression from 0:49-1:09. Dark organ sounds + choirs is a great combination to me and I totally forgot that a song like that even existed in the franchise (and I've played through all of Black/White too). The intro's really neat as well.
