Saturdays are either super busy or super boring, and today looks like it's going to be the latter

Luckily I only have to do this once a month or so

What kinda work you do?

There's a nice level at where I work where it's not TOO dead where you're bored out of your mind but you're also not slammed to hell.

Right now we're currently at that perfect spot.

Parts writer at a Ford dealership. Usually during the week I'm either answering phone calls from local shops looking to get parts, or just doing general inventory stuff like stocking orders, working with the technicians and service advisors, etc. Saturdays suck because most major shops are closed or work limited hours, and the ones that are open are like little gas stations that always request the strangest shit or are real pushy about when they can get something

Kinda. Not a whole lot of people want to buy vehicles during the winter months. Our department usually sees an uptick in body parts and seasonal items like batteries due to the weather. Lots of people getting into minor accidents, etc.

Nope, I am the proud owner of a 2002 Honda Civic with 230k miles on the clock. Runs like a champ, except for the bad front driver's wheel bearing that started making noise in the past month. Just haven't had time to fix it yet, it's one of those straightforward but pain in the ass repairs.

It's dead this morning too, probably because it's raining and nobody wants to get their car fixed in the rain
