Thinking about picking up a new game and I know its a gacha but I'm wondering where it falls in the levels of exploitative between EA and Supergiant

Played it a bit but it got to a point where every level would add more shit that i had to do for the daily reward to the point it became a huge fucking chore.

I'm at level 40 and it takes less than an hour to clear all daily missions.

TC, if you're going to play, start before midnight to get today's stuff done. It resets at midnight. It's not too terribly bad, but there are a lot of microtransactions and it is hard to level up after a certain point.

Characters have three stats that affect their strength: level, tier, and how many stars they have. Level is relatively easy to increase. Tier is somewhat harder but still manageable. Stars are very hard to increase. You have to collect shards which are random. That's also how you collect characters.

For instance you need 45 shards to unlock Wolverine. You get his shards by doing daily tasks. You get 10 the first day and 5 everyday after that. After you accumulate 45 shards to unlock him, you need 55 more to get him to three stars (he starts at two). And you can still just get 5 a day.

Different characters require different numbers of shards, and some shards are harder to get than others. Good luck getting Magneto, Thanos, or Ultron.

I started too late to do the Magneto event, but I know you need five X-Men to do it. It will probably be back in about six months, so I've got to power up my team and collect more X-Men. Right now I've only got Wolvie.

X men or brotherhood. Wolvie is given daily. Jugg is in the arena store. Pyro is in the war store. The rest are in campaign nodes.
