So it seems like most place in washington don't have king crab for some reason. When I was moving here from CA I was looking forward to it being even more available and cheaper, but the reverse is true. It seems like many people here actually prefer dungenous over king!!

Now, the meat tastes good for both, but I the king crab legs are SO easy to open, I don't need a knife or crab cracker etc (or those little forks). I can tear apart a crab leg in seconds without even having to crack anything. I have shown a few other people how to do it, and it allows you to get tons of meat very fast.

I think the reason people like dungeonous over King is they don't know how to do that. I have seem people taking minutes to get to the meat in king crab legs, it's sad.

Anyway, I'm going to get some crab tonight at emerald queen casino, i'm in the mood for it, I just wish it wasn't so far to actually get King crab legs (would have to travel like 2 hours to Red Wing Casinn where I used to go near lacey WA). It's also only Fri-saturday there, so I'd have to wait till tomorrow (and I want crab tonight).

So, what is your favorite type of crab if you have one?

I don't like to eat crab.... 'cuz I think they're cute. I love them little blue hermit crabs, and fiddler crabs, and halloween crabs are outstanding!

Hehe crabs are cute, I love doing the crab arms in water areobics, but they are still yummy!!!

I have mastered getting the meat out by hand on king crab, which is part of the reason why it's so hard for me to enjoy dungeonous, snow just has so little meat it's not even worth it to me.

It takes me 5x as long to get 1/4th as much meat from a dungenous crab as from a king crab and, especially the thick leg part, is much tastier.

If you rip off the top of the thick leg part, and then pull the smaller leg backwards away, you pull out all the leg meat instantly, break it in half and dunk in butter and YUM!!!

I miss a few places from olympia/lacey, but I miss going for the all you can eat king crab at Red Wing on Fri/Sat the most. I really should not havemoved from there. I'm paying $200 more a month here as well, and it's been 7 months now, so I have payed $1400 more to live here, have less good food options etc.

Thought I had a job here is why I did it, but now I really regret it. I guess I should start looking for somewhere in that area to move back to.

Man, I went to Emerald Queen casino buffet yesterday for the all you can eat crab and t-bone steaks (also had NY strips), and it was so good, I like REALLY wanna go again today.

Sadly, they only have the crab/steak on Tuesday/Thursdays (funnily enough the 2 days a week I work out right now).

So I gotta wait all the way till next tuesday to get my crab on again. The cold crab was so much better then the crab they warmed up though. Only had about a crab or two worth of meat cause it's such a pain to get out of the dungeonous but it was super yummy (and I had 2 tbone steaks and a ny strip steak along with some clam chowder).

All I ate yesterday, and still more calories then I should have on average, but damn it was going. Two times a week won't kill me.
