Busted his ass for decades trying to make it big in jazz, finally makes it big as a techno gimmick and he buys into it 100%. He makes inspirational techno music where he scat-sings over the beat, gets fucking huge in Japan and Germany and creates his own virtual utopia where people are kind to each other and understand each other.
Then he finds out he has cancer, but keeps on performing instead of risking his livelihood on chemotherapy that could destroy his voice and leave him too weak to perform. That dude had a passion for performing and entertaining. It's easy to write his shit off as a big ol' meme, but if you look at the guy behind the meme, there's a lot of optimism and heart that not a lot of acts tend to have. --- Now Playing: Borderlands 2, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed ...
