how do you explain the incredible success of Asian people? If the US is all about.. Racism, and white supremacy, discrimination, and dividing the have nots from the FUCK YOU I GOT MINE! How could they have done this?

How come Asians are so overwhelming successful in school? Theyre so good that some colleges have turned away Asian students with better grades to include other minorities for the sake of diversity. What is that shit? Shouldnt it be about merit? Asians are too badass it seems.

Asians have higher stats of being small business owners than even native born Americans. They were able to open their own businesses and have success in this 'racist shithole' we call the US. They also tend to be in higher income brackets and are less likely to receive welfare of any kind.

Asians commit less crime than other races and are less likely to join gangs that engage in violence and drugs. Asians are less likely to go to jail or prison. Despite often starting out in poverty.

Asians collectively in the US seem to have good family values, lower rates of abortion divorce and illegitimate birth. Many arent Christian yet they exemplify values like working hard, living with honor, treating others as you want to be treated. Theyre basically living proof that the American dream exists in every way.

And they did all this while also suffering from racial discrimination in the past just like blacks, Latinos, the irish, and everyone else that was seen as different. They worked through it stoically, earned their way without a lot of complaining and bitching, and are now a shining example of how to make it in this country.

What does CE think about THAT? and im not just referring to Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, philipino, and all the rest. Middle Eastern asians are also a success here. Whats up with that boys?

Asians maintain strong familial business connections, big part of the culture, along with schooling being a way of life for children, rather than something that only happens at school. Similar to Jewish ties, but with more overseas involvement.

None of this invalidates that racism exists in the US, though. Are you saying we're not as racist as other places, or that you think racists are racist to minorities equally, or what? Which demographic of Asians are you talking about that starts in poverty and ends consistently at success? What are you defining as a "racist shithole"?

You think you wrote up something good, but it's vague, and extremely tired. This same rant has popped up on /pol/ every week since 2008, at least. I went through your phase when I was 14. I grew out of it when I was still 14.

And, for the record, the race balancing scandal is extremely stupid and racist, I won't even begin to argue it.

Huh, that's new to me. This especially sticks out:

It's because they don't have to focus their attention on domestic pop culture. In a way, they're shielded from the excesses of capitalism, such as the service and entertainment industries. The successes of minorities ware off anyway, after around the third generation, once a visible culture erects around them. Biculturalism is the asset, not their ethnicity.

The United States IS racist......towards Asians. If you are of Asian descent, you are less likely to get into college solely because of your race, because colleges try to "balance" the number of people from each race, which honestly is one of the most racist things I've ever heard.

If colleges just accepted students without looking at race, like California pubic universities are forced to do, then there would be many, many more students of Asian descent. It became a big story a few years ago in Japan and South Korea, and I know a lot of my friends there personally didn't even believe such a racist thing could be true (college admissions in both Japan and South Korea are legally identity-blind, even your names aren't allowed to be revealed).
