OpenlyGator 01/29/20 7:33:00 PM #7:	It can be both insulting and a compliment when you consider the broader picture beyond just trans culture. But I can still understand why a trans person who almost perfectly passes for their identified sex would still be offended by it despite the speaker meaning it as a compliment. Although I have personally met more than a few trans folk who just shrugged it off giving a halfhearted thanks and chalked it up to "cultural differences".
