Penguinort 01/29/20 6:31:16 PM #1:	So I met this girl on a dating app and we hit it off great. We set up a meeting and we have coffee at Starbucks. Date goes so great that we end up holding hands on the table and kissing for a long time before going our own way. Days later and we're still chatting on text and things are getting pretty steamy. We set up another date at an Italian restaurant and she said we could chill at my place after that. Needless to say, I make sure the house is spotless, I ironed my best dressing shirt and bought some wine just in case. The day comes and I send her a text early in the afternoon to confirm the time. ...No response. Weird, I thought so I waited for like 2 hours before sending another one. No response either. Gave her a call an hour before the date and it ringed twice before going straight to voicemail. Every other call I made went straight to voicemail and I started to suspect she blocked me so I borrowed my roommates phone for a quick experiment. I sent a random "Hi" message and she answered with "Hi, who is this?". Left the issue alone after that and proceeded to watch Netflix while drinking some of the wine I bought and typing this. Like, I'm all for not wanting to date anymore, but it wouldn't have taken her more than 5 seconds to send a polite "hey, I don't want to date anymore". I would have understood, but don't keep me hoping until literally the last moment. Especially after things were looking so.good on the first date. Some people just don't have any sympathy for other's feelings. Rant over.
