Knowingly, the hottest I've experienced is 125F. 'experienced' even hotter because I was also in a porta potty when it was that hot outside. Unknowingly, it hit 128F and I was probably out and about in it.

Coldest I've ever knowingly known it to be was like -5F.

117F (47C) or so in Needles, CA many, many times and 113F (45C) in downtown L.A. about 7 years ago. I have lived in L.A. most of my life (native) and that kind of temperature is unheard of downtown.

Coldest was probably in Sapporo, Hokkaido one night but I couldn't tell you the temperature. It's pitch dark at like 4:30 in the afternoon up there. It was definitely colder than the - 10F (-23C) or so we would often get down to when I was in grad school in New England.

Somewhere in the 120s. I went to Puerto Rico on a July to meet my girlfriend's family. This was a huge mistake and I quite nearly died, for as well equipped as I am to handle cold weather, I'm that much weaker against heat.

Hottest I ever recall experiencing was 105 in Vegas, though I could've experienced hotter from the same trip.

How is that the coldest you've ever experienced in Alaska? In Alberta, we will get at least -40c for a couple weeks every winter. -12f is only -24c.

Closest was probably around 5 or 6 degrees in Pennsylvania. Very cold compared to what I'm used to

edit: never mind, just looked it up and it looks like theres been a couple times it got to -20 or more. I was only here for the 2004 one so I would have been 11 at the time

according to records im lookin at the highest i was alive for in this area was 103f. record low is 0, but that was the year i was born. i obviously dont remember that tho, so i have no idea

Wow that's crazy I didn't know it could get that cold. I'm up in Kitsap County and the coldest we get is in the 20s on the rare occasion it snows.
