I was an infantryman stationed in Alaska for a year and it was very cold. I remember walking to the on base club on New Years and it was very very cold.

Hottest would be in the low 40's celcius with 60-70% humidity. Summer in Australia sucks ass.

Coldest would be like -1 or 2.

Hottest I've experienced was 38 Celsius. The coldest I've experienced was -56 Celsius.

Had near that. Hottest I felt was about 35 Celsius, coldest was about -30/-40. I would take neither again. That said.... I also would take.... a lot less snow again. It's about 10 feet of snow outside in some areas.

The thing about heat is that as long as there's no humidity, you can get pretty hot and still be comfortable. This is true up until about 110F (43C). Plus at night it gets down to the 60s (+16C). I'd rather do triple digits in a dry heat than 85-90F in humidity.

There is something weird about being hot that consistently though

You miss it once it's gone

Its like a warm, pervasive blanket that gets removed once it's no longer that hot all the time outside. Or maybe the heat broke me
