Therefore I suggestted you do not blame Twitter and now should stop concluding/reacting without proper context.

My theory still stands. I said I may assume based on this topic, but only you can discern to true reason as to why you reacted in such a way. I can ask you why and hope your answer isn't Twitter which would loop the conversation back to our initial engagement.

From what I heard the woman Kobe had that one night didn't agree to backdoor stuff and Kobe did it anyway. She was ok with the regular stuff though. Horrible situation for all involved and looking at Kobe's wife still sticking by the guy, she didn't deserve that at all and she's a far greater woman than most in that situation.

As for Anita, she's a witch. Kobe was in the NBA, the groupies for them are some of the finest women in the world, magic fell to that lifestyle and Kobe would of too without that incident happening to him. Him, his daughter, the families on the chopper, none of them deserved that, Kobe's wife will never be the same, the rest of her life as well as the siblings. Anita has no idea what goes into the family unit, she will never know.

See, now this is a completely different take from hers. In the tweet in the OP, Anita does not say any of this. She simply acknowledges what we already know and offers the insight that its ok to be conflicted. She doesnt say we need to judge Kobe harshly, she makes no overarching statement on power or men or anything like that. Its not aimed at people seeking moral judgement of Kobe Bryant - its to people who already have moral judgments about Kobe.

Oh I know, its my take on people saying its too soon to bring it up. Like she should wait a week or something

Especially when they just died and their family is currently going through some of the worst days of their life

I have no problem with the sentiment expressed in the tweet.

I do think it was in poor taste to use the word "rapist" when he had just died, out of respect for people around him who are mourning him. You don't have to get into the specifics. It's possible to say something like this while still coming across as respectful of those who are mourning him.

What scenario would exist where bringing that up would make sense? The incident was 17 years ago. Kobe retired 4 years ago. He was very much out of the limelight for a good while

I've been seriously sexually assaulted, if a man had done it it would be rape. I've known multiple female victims of rape. Imagine how it feels when they see someone they, based on evidence of which there is plenty, consider a rapist being celebrated and near deified. It's an unpleasant feeling.

I'm not saying it didn't happen and if it did actually happen and there is enough evidence of it happening I'll take the blame for saying it. I've been sexually harassed and touched before. I was under the impression that it was just allegations and not concrete proof that it happened. The people saying this right after he died are what is bothering me because it just comes off as petty clout chasing.

If you're bringing up Kobe's rape allegation, in any form, right after his death, you're doing it for attention at the very least. Theres a reason even prominent, staunchly feminist female sports pundits(mina kimes, sarah Spain, Katie nolan, jemele hill, etc.) arent doing it
