Is this proof that psychics are legit?

17 y/o Haylee Martin from Kentucky was found safe and sound after Police had HIRED PSYCHICS who ACCURATELY predicted where she was!!

She was missing since January 13 after disappearing the day before and when she still wasn't found a week later, Sheriff Chris Quire contacted local mediums to use their psychic abilities and got them together in the bedroom Haylee was last seen so they can see where she might be..thats when the psychics made the prediction of Haylee being in a neighboring county..

Quire said he was skeptical but didn't want to rule "anything" out and said "It's hard to believe, but most of the psychics agreed that we would find Haylee in a neighboring county by morning..and we did"

Officers got a call of a BURGLARY and found her and a 21 y/o friend trying to ROB a friend's boyfriend's home!!

Haylee ran away after breaking up with her bf and 3 adults helped her hide for a week.

2 of those adults may face charges for interfering with the missing persons investigation

After finding her, social services then placed her on foster care as she was not sent back home because she told police she'd just "run away again"

She was reported missing by her dad just before 530am on January 13 as the Western Hills High School student left her cell phone and was never seen again.

No charges will be filed against the father as they are just happy she was found alive

Is this proof that Psychics are Legit?

Plot twist? The psychics kidnapped her! ...oh wait, the "find" wasn't really a find, it was just a prediction. Even lamer than I thought.

Pretty non-specific. Plus if you make enough guesses and play probability, you're bound to be right some of the time.

I've heard of situations like this before. Some very well may be real, but there are plenty of frauds and shams out there to prey on the hopeful and sully the names of the genuine.
Science can't figure it out, but that just means science still has more to learn.

Science can't figure it out,

No, science has repeatedly debunked it, as have magicians who very accurately pointed out that "psychics" are actually just really lousy magicians.

You get enough "psychics" trying to solve a missing persons case and sooner or later one of them is going to get lucky.

Isnt this just literally the laziest and most probable prediction possible?

This person is missing where are they?!!
Uh they went somewhere nearby.

No kidding Nostradamus. Here saying a neighboring county would cover like 100 miles in every direction.

No, we have a Randi challenge for that, which they are free to take.

Apparently they ended that back in 2015. From 1964 to 2015 they tested over 1000 self proclaimed psychics and all of them failed. James Randi even personally offered the challenge to one of the more renowned psychics, Sylvia Browne, and of course she declined because she was a fraud.

Is this proof that psychics are legit?

If cops found every single missing person then, yes, this would be proof because, in theory, they should be right every time. Otherwise it's dumb luck.

Most cops are skeptical though and don't think of employing tarot card readers and the like.

The thing that really kills me about psychics is they can't even predict their own deaths correctly. I mean, how fucking easy should that be?
