we can make incremental change for those folks, but what people like Bernie are suggesting would change the very structure of the current economy. Reasonably, the millions that are living just fine under current standards dont wanna to take that risk. Ultimately the vote will come down to folks who are fine under the current standards vs those who are not, and if more people under the current standards are fine than not, then people like Biden will win

I don't see how people don't get this by now.

Trump won precisely because his voter base wanted to see an outsider shake up the status quo. He didn't win the election by pandering to moderates, but rather by appealing those who were upset with the current status quo.

The Democrats need somebody like that, and it isn't fucking Joe Biden.

The biggest irony of all is that Trump is the one guy who most clearly represents all that old status quo shit that a lot of the people who elected him wanted to see done away with. He's setting America back decades to a system that was already dead and on its way to be buried (slow and painful way, but it was). He's a necromancer of ideas.
