Im technically 25-30% white so me having a mixed kid with an average American white women will result in a 35% black kid. Last, Obama is probably the best example of a 50/50 person.

People get weird about it.
Tarantino had Alexandre Dumas called black in Django Unchained (he was 1/4 black and 3/4 white) Then look at Bruce Lee, bullied for his white heritage in Hong Kong, to come to the US and be looked at as solely Chinese. Maybe because it's easier to keep up with or something? I dunno I've never really heard anyone refer to mixed people by what percentage is what.

Only instance I can think of is the Japanese term 'hapa', as in, "halfa".
