Film makers declaring their insecurities through dialog.

"I call 'em 'skull crawlers'. 'Course it sounds stupid now that I said it out loud."

"I'd say we're more like a 'Justice League'."
"How corny can you get?"

Shut up. Come up with something better, or be proud of what you've got.

People who make rather flamebaity comments and get all defensive when they get bombarded with criticism. Two common examples are when someone passive-aggressively expresses their unpopular opinions towards a group of people they obviously don't agree with, and derailing a topic just so they can let people know of their opinion.

People who still think that their feelings can override logic and facts they don't agree with.

Logos and seals that present information through text in a non-spacial order. For example, the popular monogram where the last initial is in the middle (John Samuel Wilson -> JWS) or seals where you're supposed to read the large central part first:

...Quality
DEVSBRO'S
...Coffee

I can appreciate that the information is generally given in an order that still makes sense, like in the order attention is meant to be drawn or from smallest font to largest, etc, but it irritates me to have to find the pattern instead of just having the information presented in the standard left-to-right, top-to-bottom format.

Trivialising the concept of cyberbullying. As silly as the term may be, I'm sure that harassing someone over the internet technically counts as bullying and ignoring it isn't going to suddenly make the problem disappear. The vast majority of people who trivialise this seemingly have the reasoning skills of an insecure teenager and appear to be toxic people to begin with. Hell, I can imagine they were bullies themselves back in school.

People who go out their way to find something like an otherwise wholesome post and start nitpicking such as how it's not inclusive enough or that it's offensive to (insert minority here), even though it's very likely they aren't even a part of that minority, nor can they speak for them. It goes without saying that these people scoff at the idea of them overreacting.

Come to think of it, a great amount of my pet peeves are about oversensitive control freaks.
