Sure they killed the Emperor, Vader, and defeated the 501st, but that only leaves 99.99% of the empire still around and in power. The rest are stupid changes that didn't need to happen, but none of them actually harm the story like Anakin's force ghost does. There are hundreds (if not thousands) of high-ranking people who believe in those ideals and will fight to keep their places. Palpy and Vader dying (not to mention the Death Star going kaboom) would certainly give the Rebellion a big shot in the arm, but it's not gonna lead to immediate regime change. geno_16 posted...
