Google says Zelda. yea zelda 1 is the one i remember. question just says idea and not says it "has a new game+ mode" but then i guess you could say donkey kong and a lot of old arcade games kinda have it too although the games just loop or will loop and get harder. ... Copied to Clipboard!

the answer was technically Zelda 2, but CT was the first to call it new game+ as Garioshi mentioned.
