Im almost done with the first one in the remaster collection and as much as I want to just skip to Infinite I think Ill give it a try

Is it really just a good game with a bad story? Well in that case thats no reason to skip it lol, not like any of the BioShocks had an amazing story to begin with

The one thing I best remember about Bioschokc 2 is finding it awfully hilarious that the main character can consume food and drink while sealed in a diver's suit.

The only thing I know about my playthrough of bioshock 2 is it kept crashing every two minutes so I gave up after 10.

Honestly, 2 is the best of the series from a gameplay standpoint. I just replayed the trilogy and enjoyed going through 2 the most.

But if you like good games regardless of how much they were what you wanted or expected. It's definitely better.

Bioshock 2 is the best one. Just replayed it about 5 or 6 months ago.

Great gameplay. The problem with Bioshock 1 was disarming/puzzles/etc were fucking horrible. Bioshock 2 is better in everyway.

Bioshock Infinite was meh to me...good luck!

The actual gameplay is better. There's more powers and gunplay is improved some.

Most people's problem is the story isn't very interesting, the concept of playing as a Big Daddy is silly, and it's more linear and stage-like in its pacing and structure (it's very similar to Dead Space).

I'd say it's still worth playing. There's nothing that enhances the mythology, but it has some of the most intense fights in the series.

Why is that concept silly? The drill and rivet guns are both lots of fun to use in the game, and they implemented it well (when you jump he thuds, etc)

It's a substantial gameplay improvement over the first one. My only gripe is it isn't long enough.

But it's my favorite Bioshock game

I don't really care for the second. I don't know what it is about it but I had to force myself to beat it. I can still pop in the first one and love it as much as I did the first time.

The first Bioshock is a classic and felt like way more love and attention to detail went into the environments and overall art direction.

That being said killing splicers was WAY more satisfying in the sequel and having 2 hands visible on the screen just made way more sense and worked better

Guys I played Infinite when it came out

BioShock 2 was the one I always skipped

But looks like I have nothing to worry about finally playing it soon
