I'm alright with the Palpatine thing though. It makes sense, Palp had a family and a normal career on Naboo before he went full crazy.

Somehow for some reason wookiepedia will eventually fill us in on, he slowed the son's development in the womb and growth outside the womb or whatnot lol.

I think the other thing that annoys me with Rey's lineage being Palpatine is that her father already answered the question if bloodlines and legacies will make you bad.

That's on top of this question already being asked in the OT.

The biggest benefit of Kylo Ren starting to go back to the light is we could have seen him talk to Anakin's ghost and realise that what he believed about Vader was wrong.
