I watched the movie first and didn't feel lost at all. Actually there's some prophecy stuff in the series that wouldn't have made sense if I didn't watch the movie first.

I mean the heretic says, use the shard, heal the crystal and make us one I believe. Not sure why watching the series first means that hard to understand?

anyways, they updated the look of alot of the puppets. I hope it gets enough interest they make a season 2 and eventually remake the movie.

I haven't seen the series yet, but why REmake the film? It still looks fantastic.
