Good 2020 I'm having so far. Been sick as a dog since the day after Christmas. Had a day of diarrhea from chain-eating cough drops. Coughed hard enough to pull a muscle in my shoulder. Cold medicine decided it'd be fun to follow-up the diarrhea with constipation. The rare times I can poo, the muscles apparently work in such a way that they pull at and hurt my shoulder. And now I've pooed blood.

Yeah, I'm assuming/hoping that's what it is. Looked like there was a lot of it though. In fact, looked like it was all blood and no poo, but I didn't exactly inspect it in detail.

If it keeps happening, I'll go to the doctor. Real nice of it to happen 3 days into the new year, that way my deductible can reset.

Bright red from either side of the digestive tract indicates a bleed somewhere close, like a hemorrhoid or esophagus cut, get checked out if it lasts more than a few days.

Blood like coffee grounds (from mouth) or dark red (from butt) indicates something further up the system and is a DEFCON ONE PROBLEM GET TO THE FUCKING HOSPITAL

It was completely painless and has been. I didn't even realize anything was wrong until I took a glance. So I'm thinking it's not a hemorrhoid.

Mine got worse before it got better. Still got blood in mine, but I'm no longer having full blood shits that look like someone's head exploded inside of a toilet bowl :)

I have cystic fibrosis which is literally a digestive and lung issue and I've never pooped blood. I'd probably have a stroke if I did since I'm so paranoid.

But hey this new breakthrough medicine has essentially cured me. Haven't done my therapy in 2 months. And I'm still depressed. Lmao.
