Remember to write down your freaking passwords somewhere just in case the computer you have all your shit on decides to up and die.

I was lucky that it started working again, at least long enough for me to change out some passwords.

And I still have my spaces in my name!

On the flip side, now your accounts aren't as likely to get broken into, since those passwords won't be on a dictionary that came out of security breaches on websites.

That said, password managers are a thing so you don't have to remember your passwords. And did you like not have email accounts that you could have used to reset passwords?

I may have to look into a password manager. Or at least a notebook I can write down shit on.

As for other email accounts, I do have them. Problem is they're linked to each other.

Needed Email B to reset the password on Email A....

An email I couldn't get access to unless I knew the password to Email A.

I'm just using my phone this time.

Also fun fact: Apparently my YouTube account is so fucking old that the phone linked to it is a different number than what I have now. Though I don't really care about that once since I uploaded nothing(Worth remembering) and I stopped listening to like 95% of what I was subscribed to anyway.

Notebooks are good

Password managers are better because they generate actually strong passwords for you. But notebooks are better than nothing.

The one I use is KeePass
https://keepass.info/

It's convenient for things I only use on my computer or for like one-time things such as when I'm sending out job applications.

But for accounts that you use on multiple devices, I don't know what's the better alternative. Like I don't think you'd use one for your Nintendo account.

This is also what I use and recommend, yeah.

Its best feature is that it just uses local files for everything, so you're not relying on somebody else's service or security. You can just copy the file it creates to your phone or wherever else you want it, too (Whether manually or using something like Dropbox).
