I got one like 6 years ago but I never ended up going in. Had to call each night for a month to see if my number was picked and it never was.

Enjoy.

It's really not that difficult.

The first time I got summoned I actually had to go down to the courthouse. It was the biggest waste of time ever, because we didn't do anything but sit around in a room for hours doing nothing. Then they would send us on these frequent recesses, having us go back and forth between sitting inside doing nothing and sittig outside doing nothing until we finally got interviewed and after all that for two days I didn't even get on the jury.

The second time I got summoned my number didn't get called when I checked over the phone, thankfully.

I think I'm going to get off here too. They're summoning me to a county I haven't lived in for a little more than half of this year.

$25 a day.

What state are you in that you get that much? It was like $17/day both times I got it for IL (in Chicago). My first time at least had a had a free parking garage, but my second time required me to pay $20 for parking each day...

I live in Georgia. In this specific case I, fortunately, don't own a car.
