• Ghostbusters (an actual Ghostbusters game instead of... whatever we got on NES)
• He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
• King Kong
• Transformers

3D era

• A Star Wars game based off of the original trilogy. Has there even been a rancor battle since Super Return of the Jedi on Super Nintendo?
• Batman 64
• Jurassic Park 64
• Hell, anything in the SNES era that got skipped over in the N64 era or future eras of Nintendo consoles

Zorro damn sure deserved a video game. It'd probably be easier today given that you could do first person fencing, horse riding, and platform leaping. The dude was basically a video game character before there were video games. Although sword-fighting / fencing has always been tricky to pull off in video games.

I remember what a novelty it was back in the day when Link could get sword to sword with enemies in A Link to the Past on SNES.

Supernatural as a third person adventure action game made by CDPR. You'd have to identify cases in papers, research lore to develop better weapons and techniques against different monster types, and of course actually hunt the monsters.

I imagine the setting running parallel to the main story of the show - this would allow for you to experience the events of the show from a different perspective, it would allow for a natural game-like progression where new creatures are introduced and better weapons can be found/built, and it would tie the story in (at least loosely) with the show (doesn't have to regurgitate the whole plot, but just revealing the existence of various beings and having other hunters drop rumors about what they're hearing, plus adding stuff like Busty Asian Babe [note to mods: that's a fictional publication they joke about in the show a lot] magazines to collect, would provide more than enough fan service without ruining the lore too much).

Plus the setting, just like in the Witcher, naturally affords for compelling morality decisions to be made - do you want to just go around and kill all the demons, or do you want to exorcise them and try to save the vessels? How about a quest where you're investigating vampire-like killings only to find out that normal people are behind the killings and they're using a nearby den of "vegan" vampires as cover - do you kill everyone including the vampires, do you let the vampires live, do you collect evidence to turn the humans in to the police or do you just kill them?

I mean, the shit already writes itself just make it eff :(

edit: Honestly the team behind Mafia 3 could even make it, the Mafia 3 engine also feels like it would work really well for this kind of game. They'd just need to work on the writing a bit more.

A Hell House, LLC or Haunt game in the vein of Dungeons / Evil Genius, where you're an evil spirit or... posse of evil clowns, and you design a haunted mansion to lure victims in and kill them. I guess the challenge would be to do it in a way that you don't attract so much heat that the police shut you down for so long that you go bankrupt? And you could use parts from your victims to create new exhibits (example: in haunted houses where you stick your brain in a bowl of "brains" and it's actually spaghetti, and the "eyeballs" are olives - except in this case they'd be real eyeballs, from your victims. Or you could rig their bodies to drop from the ceiling and scare the shit out of guests. The tradeoff here is that you'd have to preserve the body to prevent it from smelling, and that would cost extra money upfront and take time to process).

The more *real* and terrifying your house, the more money people are willing to pay.

Well I'm still waiting for a good game for A Song of Ice and Fire, and The Fast and the Furious. Both franchises have had games, they just suck.

Open world Harry Potter game like Witcher 3

I always thought it would be cool.. but likely would never happen.. to have a Dexter kind of game where you are a serial killer but only kill scumbags like pedos, rapists, murderers, etc. You investigate their behavior, find a way to abduct them and have creative ways to kill them like manhunt or the new Friday the 13th. All while covering your tracks and avoiding being arrested yourself.

Yeah it's apparently 12 years old now holy cow. I don't know anything about it, just know that a girl wrote/performed music based on it and one of her songs found its way into another game I played and I really loved it >_>
