What the article doesn't tell you is that most limited, special edition shoes with resell value sell out on the first day lol. That's likely the case here and they're just trying to clickbait both sides of the debate. the ones who wanna be like "SEE PEOPLE LOVE KAEP" and the ones who wanna say "OH YEA HIS SWEATSHOP SHOE THAT HE'S USING JUST TO MAKE MONEY!?"....

All that said, i like that shoe. It looks nice.

Nike does this for the resellers, they prob made like 5000 pair total.

Depending on the resale value they might make more but I'm doubting these will quadruple in value like Travis Scotts.

I like the way they look, not a fan of AF1s because they are stiff as fuck, would rather have Dunks. Plus anyone that keeps up with sports that isn't a total tool knows that in recent months CK has proven himself to be a total tool himself.

I think the Betsy Ross Air Max 1s were better looking but I'm a sucker for Tinker Hatfield designs

It's a troll move from Nike to all the Kaepernick haters. They make him a signature shoe and literally put his face on it, what other athlete/rapper/fashion designer does that? That's an alpha move, Nike being vicious, on a separate note, I copped myself a pair of Yeezy 700 V3 this morning, so lucky.

Honestly if you hate Kaepernick you probably hate the concept of him too, along with others who look similar to him.

Stuff selling out is nowhere near as big as it used to be. 90% of the buyers are probably putting that shit on selling sites and the other 10% are probably people with money that they dont know what to do with.

Its cool though, if you have something making money or bringing stories then might as well do anything and everything you can until that well is dry.

kinda looks like they based it completely off of Jordans space jams. Its not ugly but its nothing special, just a decent black shoe.

Seems like a weird line to draw. It's pretty stylised for one. Secondly, stuff like stan smiths have had a face on them for years. Who cares?

i also don't wear stan smiths so idk what to say dog.

but it's just a personal thing. i'm not calling for them to redo the shoe or to stop them from being made. i could also see myself no longer caring if i wanted them in the future. but for now, not for me.
